The sketch I did this week for Sketch Support was absolutely charming. My problem? I had no small photos on hand. I'm all about making life simpler for myself, so I took out some photos of my mom and my sons when she was in town last fall and trimmed them a bit to use. I took other liberties with the sketch too to aid my design. I plan on giving this LO to my mom, BTW:
It's hard to see, but the LO is called "Gramdma Time." I used Studio Calico's May kit for this. I love the Jillibean Soup corrugated die cuts, but I've always struggled with how to use them, so I decided to spread the frames across the page to house accents:
That's an old Doodlebug paper frill I flipped and misted to match the LO. Since this page is going to my mom, I decided to go all pink on it.
I lay down some GCD Studios chipboard flowers, misted, then added some scrap paper to them to pretty them up. I also added some painted, stamped grids randomly along the outside of the LO.
And now for the giveaway!
You asked for it, and you got it! Allison Davis and Scrapbook Generation has released a one page sketch book! I have one copy to give away. To enter your name in to the giveaway, leave a comment on this post, telling me how many photos you tend to put on one page layouts, and I will draw a random winner Tuesday night at 8 P.M. CST.

Love the background paper you choose and great job on the layout in general. For me one page layouts need at least two if not up to four pictures!
Great job on the sketch...your Mom is gonna LOVE it!
I played along with this sketch and it got me out of my slump!
I would love to win a copy of Ali's one page sketches! :)
TFS!
These are the best sketches out there - hands down. And I love the multi photos they often support, because I'm pretty sure I average around 4 or 5.
These sketches really are awesome!! Your layout is just too cute!! :)
I love your page and how you changed it up from the sketch!!
I generally use 4 or so photos per page.
That book looks good@ I love sketches! I tend to use odd numbers of photos on a page..3,5,7..I like muli photo layouts myself :)

It depends! I am going through a 1 photo phase, but generally it's 2.
I always love your work! And I love Allison's sketches too. I do a few 1-photo pages, and a few with 4 or 5, but typically my 1-pagers have 2-3 photos on them. Thanks for the giveaway!
Very pretty LO - love all the pink and girly elements! Thanks for the chance to win the book. I generally put two or three pics on a one-page layout, though sometimes I can squeeze another one on. ;)
Great layout, as usual! I often put 4 photos on a one page layout, but I've but as many as 8 or 9 as well, I like to use my space wisely! :)
I always try to put at least 2-3 pictures in a single layout, however, I really try to add more than that...just need to figure out the technique and the perfect sketch.
Love your layout!
I usually use from 1-3 photos for a one page layout.
Thanks for the chance at the give away!
I usually do 2 or 3 pictures on a one page layout. Thanks for the chance to win!
Super cute layout, as always! I tend to put 2-3 photos on one page layouts. : )
It varies, but typically I'll use 3 photos on a 1-pager. Thanks so much for a chance to win! :)
LOVE her books. I have been creating more one-page layouts these days, so this would be great to have. When creating a one-page layout, I usually use 1, 2, 3, or 4 photos.
