The first snow of the season is so magical--I'm all smiles when it happens. Right about now, maybe not so much, especially because the snow is all hard and crusty and in many places (especially along the highways) black.
So I delighted in creating this layout for Sketch Support this week, remembering the first snow of the season on November 13th:
You can see I misted the background with both lunchtray and sunshine mists from Studio Calico. I hand drew some swirls, poked holes 1/4" apart, and stitched with aqua paper floss from Karen Foster. Finally, I got some use out of my Quickutz snowflake dies, going for a somewhat quirky color to use in the winter, yellow--but a happy color.
