I went to Archiver's for their 10-6 crop with some friends yesterday. I finished one 2-page layout, started another, and came close to finishing three single page layouts. The single pages I finished at home.
These two are my new favorite pages:
This page was funny. I got the idea for it folding my husband's t-shirts. I thought, "He's got a lot of funny shirts!" Since I scrap, I told him he had to wear each funny shirt that week, and I would take his picture. How terrific is he? If I forgot a picture, he reminded me to take it.
I used Studio Calico's November kit, Napa Valley for this. And I loved the stitches--not too girly, but this page is about textiles, you know. He's lucky I didn't put a dress form on it.
The next one is my year in review page. I wanted to do something like this page, which I did for 2009:
I couldn't get the journaling to work using this style, though. The year 2010 included some significant loss, so I needed to approach that. I don't really like negative pages--I like pages with hope, and a little humor, when appropriate--so I decided to make a page called "Blessings in Disguise" (click on the images to see them closer):
I used Studio Calico's December kit, Metropolitan, which I need to use a lot more of, since I've only made about 5 layouts with it and the new kit ships this week. My goal for this kit is 18 pages. I added stitches, both machine stitches and some snowflake like stitches in the border at the bottom. And this is the page where I got to add the date yesterday: 1/1/11!

The journaling on your blessings page is brilliant, not just in terms of a scrapbook page but also in terms of your approach to life.
Can I also just say I'm a little envious you've done two pages already for 2011 and I've done NONE... ?
