Also, the journaling spots! A clever way to remember your brutal winter, not that you will soon forget! csewy-csescrap13https://www.blogger.com/profile/11881156464910193275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2350283423910760507.post-84241895162168146962014-02-28T12:12:10.206-06:002014-02-28T12:12:10.206-06:00Feeling your Minnesota pain due to the seemingly e...Feeling your Minnesota pain due to the seemingly endless winter here in Pennsylvania, Jennifer! Love the page and it may inspire me to make sunshine out of all the "white rain" we've experienced thus far--and that is forecast again for this coming Sunday/Monday. Stay safe and warm, and when the weather is crappy, we'll just have to get scrappy! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2350283423910760507.post-37613829084423348912014-02-28T04:53:08.873-06:002014-02-28T04:53:08.873-06:00Love the page!!! It has been the coldest winter I ever remember, and I grew up here in the Twin Cities, going to school in the 70's through the mid 80's when I graduated. I don't ever remember it being this cold for this long. Were you living here in the late 90's?? There was a day or two each year, 1996 and 1997 where it hit the -50F with the windchills. Arne Carlson shut the state down one day each year, those two years. We certainly didn't have this many days below zero like this though. Yesterday would of been our 7th snow day too. They want to take away our spring break. :( Honestly, I think the kids and teachers need it. I personally would like the time with my kids. I don't see my sophomore for 9 mo a year because she comes home with so much homework. River Falls loads them down. They again raised the standards/expectations again this year.
